Nightclubbers and Socialites 2006 - Social League

This year, Social League will not have a points calendar. This means winning a game will not get you any closer to winning the League. The league will be won by the team with the most accumulated spirit points. I want to see multiple blatant attempts to improve your teams spirit score, no restrictions, just remember to keep it PG rated if there’s kids around.

This division is open to anyone.

This division is mixed (4:3).


When:

Social Division is on Wednesday Nights. It runs from the 15th of March to the 14th of June.

Social Division games run between 6:30pm and 10:00pm every Wednesday.

All Divisions are played on the Adelaide Lutheran Fields, South-East corner of Goodwood Road and South Terrace intersection.

Registration - Non-Club Teams:

Registration is $450 for a team for the whole league, or $40 per team per day. After you’ve paid you team fee, anybody can play for you without any further cost. If you choose to pay the $40 a week, you can have as many people play each week as you wish, for no extra cost.

To register a team:

  1. Register your team on: this web page. You need to be logged on to the AFDA website (www.afda.com) using your AFDA # and password. All your players will need to have AFDA #’s to be able to register them. Click here for instructions
  2. You can pay the team fee either on the night, or (if you’re very organized) as a check made out to the South Australian Flying Disc Association, Inc.

Players can only be registered for one team in this division.

Every player on your team must eventually be registered with the AFDA to be covered in case of an expensive injury. They should also be registered on the rego page above. It will decrease my administration burden if captains could be responsible for the majority of this, but I can do it if you’re having problems.


Registration - Club Teams:

Note: This works just the same as for the Open / Womens divisions.

Registration is $275 for a team. After you’ve registered a team you can add players as you wish, without any extra cost.

Clubs should follow these 3 simple steps to register.

  1. Register your team on: this web page. You need to be logged on to the AFDA website (www.afda.com) using your AFDA # and password. All your players will need to have AFDA #’s to be able to register them.
  2. Send me an email (brainstrust@safda.com) letting me know how many teams you’ve registered.
  3. I’ll send you an invoice for the team fee(s) to be paid within 30 days.

Additional Info:

  • Players can only be registered for one team in this division.
  • Every player that plays on your team in this division must be on your player list on the registration page. If they are not on this page, they will not be covered by injury insurance.
  • All team members of club teams must be paid members of an affiliated club for the team to receive the discounted entry fee. Team members of Social Club teams do not have to be from the same club.
